Needle Tips
The needle tip is ideal for drawing fine lines, similar to an etching, onto monotype plates and paper..
Interchangeable needle tips fit on the bellows bottle or the Akua Kolor Pen (pen shown below)

Angled tip for ease of drawing precise lines and detail.
Available in x fine, fine, med, wide, and x wide size tips - Steel Straight Tips: Flexible 1” tip
Straight tips are flexible, offering more freedom for gestural lines.
Available in fine, med, and wide size tips - Plastic Straight Tips: Super flexible 1/2” tip
Use for ultra fine lines and detail.
Available in fine size tips. - Plastic Tapered Tip: Rigid 1 ¼”
Great for bold lines and selected areas of color.
Available in med size tips.
Needle Applicator Set
Includes: 5 bellows-bottles, 5 stems, 5 caps, and 5 angled tips.
The tip sizes range from extra fine, fine, medium, wide, and extra wide.

Deluxe Needle Applicator Set
Includes: 5 bellows-bottles, 5 stems, 5 caps, 5 angled tips, and 3 straight tips. The angled tip sizes range from extra fine, fine, medium, wide, and extra wide. The straight tip sizes range from fine, medium, and wide.
Variety Applicator Set
Includes: 5 bellows-bottles, 5 stems, 5 caps, 3 steel angled tips, 1 plastic straight tip and 1 plastic tapered tip. (Ink sold separately)
Adapter Caps
Needle tips (above) fit on the Pen (below) with the addition of an Adapter Cap.
Adapter Caps are sold separately in packs of three or included in some sets.

Introductory Applicator Set
Includes 1 Pen, 1 bellows bottle, 1 stem, 1 cap, 1 adapter cap, 1 steel angled tip, 1 plastic flexible tip, 1 plastic tapered cone tip, three Felt tips (brush, chisel and pencil). Ink sold separately.
Bellows-Bottle
The bellows bottle fits comfortably in the palm of the hand. Fill with Akua Kolor and use for drawing or fill with water and use to flush needle tips clean. Refillable Bellows holds 1 oz of liquid.

Needle Washer Bottle
Use the Needle Washer Bottle to clean needle tips. To use, fill the Needle Washer Bottle with water, place tip on cap and flush the water through the tip. This squeezable plastic bottle holds 8 ounces of water and can be used for long periods of time with out changing the water

Akua Kolor Pens
Refillable pens hold up to 2 ounces of Akua Kolor and fills easily through the wide mouth. They will not leak, making them easy to carry, use, and store.
Felt Tips
Felt tips are used for drawing a variety of types of lines onto monotype plates and paper. The lid has a unique pump valve that allows the user to control the flow of the ink and helps prevent puddling of ink on the plate. Choose from three interchangeable felt tips that can easily be removed for cleaning and replacement.

Paper
Arches 88 is mould made, 100% cotton paper that is acid free and buffered. The sheets are un-sized allowing for high ink absorption. Sheets have deckle edges and a watermark. The mill that makes this paper does not use chlorine bleaching. Ideal for printing monotypes with Akua Ink.
Hahnemuhle Monotype paper is highly recommended for printing monotypes with Akua Kolor and Akua Intaglio Water-based Inks. It is very slightly textured and lightly sized. Print dry with an etching press or dampen paper for hand printing with a PinPress.
Hahnemuhle Copperplate is 100% Alpha Cellulose. The sheets are only slightly sized allowing for good ink absorption. The paper has deckle edges and a watermark. Hahnemuhle Copperplate is an excellent paper for printing intaglio plates.
The PinPress
This precisely machined aluminum hand printing press was designed specifically for monotype printmaking. Unlike the kitchen rolling pin, the PinPress has an extremely even surface which insures trouble-free printing. The crescent shaped handles offer proper hand positioning for printing with maximum pressure. The PinPress is quick and easy to use anywhere. It is available in two sizes. Choose the size that will comfortably overlap the edges of the largest plate dimension you work with. All metal construction with crescent shaped handles are flat on one side and hold the PinPress firmly on the table when not in use.
